Tenungu - Telungu - Telugu ! తెనుంగు - తెలుంగు - తెలుగు !
Telugu! This word resonates deeply within us, stirring a profound sense of pride. Nicola Di Conti, an Italian traveler, once referred to Telugu as the "Italian of the East." The enchanting sounds of this ancient language, with a history spanning over 2400 years, have captivated numerous cultures around the globe. With more than 74 million native speakers and over 5 million non-native speakers, it is evident that Telugu has woven itself into a significant portion of the world's linguistic tapestry. Predominantly spoken in two Indian states, the language has undergone various transformations in dialect, grammar, and structure. Regardless of the changes, Telugu has only grown richer and more melodious. As members of this remarkable linguistic and cultural heritage, we, even when distant from our roots, come together to celebrate and honour our beloved language
